The thing about reading is that the reading positions I find comfortable double as comfortable sleeping positions, so I will inevitably fall asleep while reading.

I went to a Mennonite church today and I liked it. It’s a shame it’s an hour drive and I have no job for gas money.

I finished the school year today. I am never coming back.

If Jesus commands us to turn the other cheek and to love our enemies and to not return evil for evil, yet God not only refuses to turn the other cheek and returns evil for evil by sending sinners to Hell for all eternity but is compelled to retaliate by God’s nature, what would that make God? Why would God command us to do something that God can’t even do? If we can do something that God can’t do (love our enemies, turn the other cheek, not return evil), does that not mean we can do something that God cannot do? 

People here fail to recognize that I have grown up hearing the very arguments they deliver to me whenever I express a dissenting opinion, so what you are going to say will hold little sway over me as I have already considered them and have divorced myself from that thinking.

If I were to ever be in a relationship, it would be with a man who will unabashedly call me out when I’m being ridiculous (especially about my opinions). I would rather have someone vomit a brutally honest statement all over me than prance around on egg shells, prettying up a statement so I don’t get my feelings hurt. I respond to things that have a little sting (although I’m not talking emotionally abusive, of course). And I would reciprocate. I appreciate bluntness. 

I don’t think I’ll ever find someone who can keep up with me. I’m fine with that. I’m  not a person that attracts members of the opposite sex. Or same sex either, but I don’t swing that way, so it doesn’t concern me.

Once I had three points deducted from a 15 point essay response because I didn’t provide enough detail about how Jesus changed my life. Okay.

I’ve slipped into heresy and I’m fine with it. Oops.
